The Mountain Satellite Office (MSO) is located at the Mountain Horticultural Crops Research and Extension Center in Mills River, NC. The MSO serves teachers, students, school systems, and community stakeholders of Western North Carolina. The MSO promotes STEM education through teacher professional development, curriculum development, student engagement programs, and an equipment loan program.
